The focus of the 2025 Humanist conference is on innovative and intelligent mobility solutions and applications for diverse user groups.
Transport Modes

Vulnerable Road Users

Special focus might be placed on
●Needs of the elderly, individuals with specific requirements
● Vulnerable road users
● Consideration of accessibility, autonomy, inclusiveness and efficiency (through traffic safety)

... may include, but are not limited to:

● Different transport modes and levels of automation
● Traffic safety
● Road user behavior
● Specific road user groups (e.g., vulnerable road users)
● Road user needs and requirements (e.g., accessibility, autonomy, inclusiveness, efficiency, sustainability)
● Technical, ethical, legal and societal challenges for road traffic
● Human-Machine Interaction (HMI)
● Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS)
● Automated/ Autonomous Vehicles (AVs)
● Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)
● AI-applications in intelligent vehicles
● Human factors methods for road traffic research (e.g., simulation, modeling, scale development)

Call for Contributions

Submissions might be either Extended Abstracts (2 pages) or Full Conference Papers (5-6 pages) – according to the choice of the authors. Please use the provided template when preparing contributions. Please submit the contributions (full papers and extended abstracts) using the submission form.
At least one conference registration per contribution is mandatory.

Deadline for Re-submission of Extended Abstracts/ Full Papers

Per default all accepted submissions will be presented as talks, posters are available upon request.
All accepted submissions will be included in the conference proceedings. 
The conference proceedings will be published online with ISBN/DOI under CC BY-SA license.
Furthermore, selected contributions (max. 10-12) will be invited to submit a full paper to a special issue in Transportation Research Part F (in addition to the conference proceedings).
